the company started operations and since then a systematic aspiration to quality has served as the leitmotif of both its management and development. Accordingly, the presentation in 2018 to INTERCARGO, as the only forwarding company, of the Quality Austria Award for 25 years of uninterrupted ISO 9001 certification, represented a special honour.

This standard, which revolves around efficient and lasting customer and process orientation, currently represents one of the most successful international management systems, and is regarded as the parent norm for a variety of derivatives.

At the presentation ceremony, Konrad Scheiber, CEO, Quality Austria Trainings-, Zertifizierungs- und Begutachtungs GmbH stated that: “Certification over more than two decades demands the indispensible capabilities constituted by stamina, thoroughness and the will to constantly strive for success.”

In 1993

Helfrid Mooshammer provided considerable assistance to Andrea Gassner, a student at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, through valuable information and discussions during in-depth research for her thesis on “Major problems during the introduction of total quality management at forwarding companies.”

In addition, the entire logistics sequence was subjected to an internal process analysis. The related suggestions for improvement were professionally documented for practical realisation.

On 20 October 2015

Helfrid Mooshammer was accepted into the Austrian "Senat der Wirtschaft" (SDW). The “Senat der Wirtschaft” (SDW) constitutes the Austrian section of the Global Economic Network and was constituted in 2008 under the auspices of the SDW president and former Austrian deputy-chancellor Dr. Erhard Busek and Dieter Härthe, who became its chairman. For example, the organisation disposes over a fleet of more than 17,000 trucks in over twenty European countries and its services range includes part-load, full-load, volume load and building material networks, as well as a pallet portal.

The network also administers pilot projects and teamwork with institutions of higher education and scientific bodies. More detailed information regarding Europe’s largest logistics association can be accessed here.
